Racing at Goodwood is an unmissable date in the summer social calendar, and a highlight of the social season for 200 years. There are twenty days racing in 2004, each one being an ideal opportunity to entertain your guests in one of the private boxes which overlook the racecourse.

The five-day festival "Glorious Goodwood" offers top quality racing with the atmosphere of an English summer garden party. Described by The Times as "the place to be and be seen", Goodwood is as much a statement about fashion as it is about entertaining, and the two together provide the perfect venue for your guests.

Trundle Restaurant

Glass fronted pavilion and private lawn situated in the Richmond Enclosure with views of the Sussex Downs. Reserved course seating may be purchased in the March Grandstand during the Festival Meeting at a cost of £16 (inc. VAT). Bookings can be made for parties of 2 and upwards with individual tables available to seat 2, 4, 6, 10 or 12 guests.

Horseshoe Pavilions

A tented hospitality village, with a unique pavement cafe atmosphere, situated beyond the Winning Post in the Richmond Enclosure. Parties can be booked in multiples of 20 persons.

Richmond Pavilions

Tented pavilions with balconies on the roof of the Charlton Stand. Stunning views of the finishing straight and across the Downs with the Horsewalk below. Private parties of 24 or multiples thereof can be booked in this facility.

Charlton Stand Boxes and Charlton Hunt Restaurant

Glass fronted boxes with balconies situated on the 1st floor of the Charlton Stand. Overlooking the Horsewalk with stunning views to the finishing straight. Private boxes can be booked to cater for up to, or multiples of, 40 guests. In the Restaurant, bookings can be made for parties of 2 and upwards with individual tables available to seat 2, 4, 6, 10 or 12 guests.

March Stand Boxes Paddock Side

Glass-fronted boxes with private balconies and outstanding views of the Parade Ring and the Solent beyond. Access to the Grandstand viewing of the Winning Post. Reserved course seating may be purchased in the March Grandstand during the Festival Meeting at a cost of £15 (inc. VAT). Private boxes can be booked to cater for parties of 12 to 15 guests.

Glass-fronted suites on the first floor of the Sussex Stand. Views towards the Parade Ring from the balcony, racing is viewed from the roof of the Sussex Stand. Bookings can be made for parties of 40 or multiples thereof.

Upon confirmation of booking we will contact you with menus to finalize your catering and any special dietary needs.

Opening/Closing Times

Hospitality facilities are open from 11am until 6pm at the Festival Meeting. 11.30am to 6pm at non-Fesitval Meetings. However, the provision of alcohol within the facilities is subject to permitted hours granted by the licensing magistrates, usually a maximum of 30 minutes after the last race.
